Orders

In case you order from this website you comply with our general terms and conditions. Your order will be confirmed by e-mail. After receipt of your payment your order will be processed.

Colors

Dependant on the quality of your computer screen / monitor the colors shown on your screen may differ from the actual colors of the fabric. In case you wish to order large quantities of fabric we are willing to send you a sample. Please send you sample request to info@femkedebont.com.

Guarantee

In case a manufacturer or supplier provides guarantee on the delivered goods to Femke de Bont this guarantee will also be transferred to the customer. Any other cases in which you will have the right to claim against us are if the goods are subject to any demonstrable faults or if it can be proved the product was not soundly produced. You cannot make a guarantee claim in case of natural wear and tear, of intentionally changing the product, of intentional wrongdoing or through negligent maintenance, carelessness or use for which the product is not intended or if the product has been resold or redelivered. You cannot make a guarantee claim either without the original invoice or with an amended invoice.

Liability

The liability is at all times restricted to the amount of the purchase at the most. Under no circumstances the reimbursed damage will exceed € 500 for orders within Europe and € 200 for orders outside Europe. Femke de Bont never is responsible for indirect damage.

Force Majeure

In case of force majeure Femke de Bont’s obligations will be postponed. Force majeure refers to situations such as transportation breakdowns and import and export embargos, irrespective of whether this occurs at Femke de Bont’s or at one of her suppliers.

Privacy Policy

At any order placement we will request and process your personal data. The same applies to registration on our website and to information requests from your side. We will use your personal data for processing your order and for informing you about our products and services.

Your telephone number and/or e-mail address will be used by us to contact you on your order placement, if required. Information on our products and services will solely be sent by e-mail. In case you do no longer wish to receive such information, please notify us at the above address. Your postal address will be used for delivering your order. Your personal data will not be passed on to third parties without your permission.

In case you provide us with financial data, such as in case of an order placement, this data will be processed by the respective financial institution via a safeguarded server and in a confidential way, without Femke de Bont’s interference.

Your may at any time amend your personal data on our website using your personal login data.

Returned Goods Policy

In case the order does not meet your expectations, please contact us within 10 days after receipt at info@femkedebont.com and send us your telephone number. We will call you at this phone number and in consultation with you, you will receive a unique return number with which you can return the goods within 10 days. Depending on the settlement by telephone the product will be replaced for another product or we will issue a full refund.

The goods must be returned undamaged in the original packaging and sufficiently packaged to protect against loss and/or damage during transit.

Due to the fact that returned goods are the customer’s responsibility you are advised to send the goods by registered post. Please note that the cost of returning items is the customer’s responsibility.

Goods That May Not Be Returned

Tailor-made or cut products such as fabric cannot be returned nor any goods that have been sold at discount prices.

Procedure Returned Goods

For returning goods please follow the next steps:

1. Send an e-mail to info@femkedebont.com
2. Mention the unique return number you have been given
3. State the reason for returning the goods
4. State your preference for a replacement item or for a full refund
5. Mention the invoice number
6. If applicable under no. 4: provide your bank account number for transferring the refund, including name, address, city and country
7. Pack the goods sufficiently to protect against loss and/or damage during transit
8. Ship the goods to the address below

In case the returned goods do not comply with the above procedure we cannot process these items.

We also retain the right not to deliver any goods to certain persons irrespective of reason, to remove goods from our website and/or to alter the contents of this website.

Use of the website www.femkedebont.com and purchasing any goods from it fall under Dutch jurisdiction.

The Vienna Sales Convention is explicitly excluded.
